How to Make Successfully Your Bronze Mary Sculpture?

Clay model:
First we would make a clay model. Follow the clay model to make a silicone mold. Silicone molds are made from the exterior of the original clay model sculpture, coated with layers of liquid silicone rubber to create a flexible model.

Mold making:
Our silicone molds are made from the outside of the original model sculpture, with layers of liquid silicone rubber applied to the clay to create a flexible mold. Every exact detail of the original would be shown. It is coated with liquid fiberglass that hardens into a supportive shell.

Wax Casting:
Remove the hardened mold from the clay sculpture. Pour the melted wax into the mold.

Wax removal:
After the wax has cooled, the mold is gently removed from the wax, leaving an exact wax replica of the original sculpture.

Pouring
Bronze melts at 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit. Pour the molten bronze into the solidified shell.

Remove the casing
After the bronze has cooled, carefully remove the casing. We now have a bronze sculpture!

Welding
Since the size of your bronze sculpture is life size, it is also made separately during the production process. Therefore welding is required.

Grinding:
The sculpture is sandblasted and cleaned to remove any debris. The artist would hand-finish the bronzes so that they look exactly like the originals.

Coloring:
Our way of coloring is patina, so our colors are natural and beautiful. And the colors of our bronze religious figures would become more attractive over time without fading.
